Small Business Awards with Softline Pastel 2012

The winner of the annual Small Business Awards was announced to be Neil McLellan, owner of The Little Fisherman, a fresh fish retailer and deli in Lakeside. With over five hundred nominations this year, this small business stood out as a significant contender from the start.

567 Cape Talk in partnership with Softline Pastel, established the Small Business Awards in 2008 to focus on supporting and fostering South Africa's entrepreneurial culture. Once again, listeners were asked to nominate businesses that have provided them with excellent service.

From the hundreds of businesses that were nominated, 30 finalists were selected and each business owner was interviewed on either the Breakfast Show with Kieno Kammies or the John Maytham Drive show.
