The Saturday and Sunday shows covered topics on the importance of reading, sport, music, 20 years of freedom, social media and also gave away beauty spa vouchers valued at R1,300 to 27 mothers in celebration of Mother's Day.

Lungelo Molaba was one of the kids that the station co-hosted with Talk Queen, Thami Ngubeni on Sunday 11 May between 9am-12pm. Molaba is a cricket player, playing for the Franklin D Roosevelt Primary School under-9 team. In November 2013, he was awarded with the Achieving Player Award. He is also shortlisted to play for the Junior Gauteng Cricket Championships in June 2014. He spends his free time making portraits and artistic wall pictures. He was also hosted on the YO-TV Big Breakfast Show on Saturday 10 May between 6.30-7.30am where he was interviewed about his role at Radio 2000.

Radio 2000 will execute on the ground activations with YO-TV through station events such as, Sweat It On Radio 2000, a concept that plans to shift the mind-set of people that gym is a chore and bring the fun-filled family environment to the word "gym". It will remove the gym from an enclosed and rigid environment to the outdoors creating a social, light-hearted gym environment.
