Entrepreneurs Organisation launches bootcamp in February

The Cape Town branch of Entrepreneurs Organisation (EO) will be launching its Entrepreneur Bootcamp in February 2013. It is a collective commons free access online learning resource for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Made possible by the eLearning genius of GetSmarter and the assistance of the Western Cape Local Government, EO has collaborated with its members to offer aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to gather skills of both an academic and a practical nature.

Based on UCT's small business management course, the nine module learning experience will take learners though the fundamentals of launching and managing a business. To complement these theory-based tutorials, EO members will share real life practical experiences through online video interviews.

By sharing its insights and personal experiences, EO Cape Town has added helpful information and key studies to the well-grounded and extensive content of this online learning experience.

Mentorship opportunities

The nine modules can be completed any time within a one-year period and learners who successfully complete their course will be awarded a certificate from the Entrepreneurs Organisation to acknowledge their participation. In addition to this, the top ten candidates will be offered mentorships with EO members, who include representatives of Cape Town brands such as Col'Cacchio, Digicape, V&A Waterfront Organic Market, Colourworks and Adventure Bootcamp, amongst others.

There are still sponsorship opportunities available for organisations that would like to be affiliated with this NPO registered project.

Worldwide expertise

The Entrepreneurs' Organisation is a membership-based global organisation of over 8000 successful business owners. The Cape Town chapter of the organisation was launched in 2010, during the peak of the global economic crisis. Since then, it has grown to establish itself as the second fastest growing chapter in the world, with 57 registered members.
