Objekt International launched in South Africa

Described as one of the leading international architecture, interiors and design magazines, Objekt International launched in South Africa late last week.

Dutch photographer, Hans Fonk, travels the world in search of the ultimate expressions of art in architecture, interiors and design. In 1991, he founded the publication with editorial features from around the world, illustrated by the images taken by him and his team.

Now with South Africa's locally published issue, the magazine brings a high level of inspiration in the international interior design and architectural space to local enthusiasts. The quarterly publication focuses on the top end of the international home furnishing, architecture and design market. Art, gardens, antiques, automotive and jewellery design features intermingle to create an informative and highly inspirational design collection from across the globe.

Elegance and opulence

The launch issue explores the elegance and opulence of the international wellness industry, from the ultimate hotel spa designs to the bathroom interiors of the ultra-stylish. Locally, Aurelio Cimanto's architectural creation in Sandhurst, Johannesburg is featured, while Brazilian architect and interior designer, Christiana Mascarenhas, revamps and fits out her latest New York apartment.

Published locally by Untapped World Publishing, it is available from CNA, Pick 'n Pay, Spar, Exclusive Books, garage forecourts and other independent retailers.
