Pravin warns taxpayers wary of misuse of fundsFinance Minister Pravin Gordhan has warned that taxpayers are getting wary of the misuse of public funds‚ but also pointed a finger at how the private sector costs its products and services to government.
Gordhan appeared to be referring to the Auditor General's report of last year that stated the public service had reported fruitless and wasteful expenditure of R30bn. However‚ Gordhan then turned is attention to the private sector describing it as the second side of the coin saying that a higher level of integrity was needed in the way it tendered for government business.
