New nursery makes use of latest Rootmakers technology

Western Cape organic compost provider, Reliance, launched their new nursery on Corona Farm in the Paarl region. The large scale plant and tree nursery comprise of over 50,000 citrus trees, 60,000 ornamentals, an organic food garden, as well as two hectares of mature trees.

Nursery manager, Bruce Stewart said, "We are already expanding our agricultural sector with the planting of additional fruit trees and plan to harvest our first instant lawn and turf grass in September this year".

Furthermore, Reliance Nursery is one of only a few who make use of the latest root technology called Rootmakers, designed to create fibrous, non-circling root systems to equip plants for transplanting success.
