AFI Joburg Fashion Week to showcase #AfroAsia fashion flair

The 2018 African Fashion International (AFI) Joburg Fashion Week will be held in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg from 4-7 October 2018. In the theme #AfroAsia, AFI Joburg Fashion Week 2018 is set to showcase the best of African fashion with a sprinkle of Asian flavour.

The lineup includes fashion design stars from across the continent: Nigeria’s Deola Sagoe and Clan, Haute Baso from Rwanda, and Kahindo from the DRC. South African designers in the lineup include Maxhosa by Laduma, Presidential and rising stars Imprint, Matte Nolim, Tuelo Nguyuza, and Orapeleng Modutle who was recently listed on the Forbes 30 Under 30 African Creatives. The Asian designers included in the lineup are 5-Knot from Japan, AntiArch from China, and Eric Raisina from Cambodia.
