Helen Fraser, director of the foundation, said that the event is a great success each year and receives good support. "The golf day, which is oversold every year, was abuzz with a number of South Africa's well known celebrities including Graham Joffe as the MC, and Miss South Africa, Marilyn Ramos who handed out prizes at the event.

Other participants who extended their support and showed off their golf swings this year included Mark Fish, Clive Rice, Neil McKenzie and Clive Eksteen to name but a few of our regular golfers."

The event, which takes place at the Kyalami Country Club, continues to grow each year, with bookings extending a year in advance. Some of the event's partners, such as Stuttafords also participated in the event and ended up the overall winners for the day. The golfers placed in the first 15 winning spots each received prizes while many others were winners of the fun competitions held out on the course during the day of play.
