The second African municipal bonds forum

“This forum is an important contribution to local governments, enabling them to get the expertise to take better control of their municipal development issues, and cope with the financial market requirements.”

Now in its second year, the Africa Municipal Bonds Forum (AMBF) has become a must-attend event for anyone involved in Africa's municipal debt markets.

African economies continue to grow at a higher rate compared to other emerging markets and as the continent's cities continues to strive forward - debt markets are still a much-needed tool to finance the huge African cities' infrastructure and energy gap. Cities' mayors, regions' governors and industry leaders from across Africa including speakers from ministries of finance, central banks, development banks, development partners, finance corporations, commercial and investment banks, frontier funds, just to name but a few, will be providing insights into their cities growth plans, financing strategies and answering your questions. The advisory board, set up to guide on the contents of the first forum, will again ensure that the agenda focuses on important topics and issues of the moment.
