Platypus wins Grand Prix, Golds, Silvers and Bronzes at Loeries
Platypus Productions was one of the big winners at this year's Loerie Awards, working with Ogilvy Cape Town on three multi-award-winning campaigns.
The innovative campaign for South Africa's most awarded beer allowed fans to help select the team for the Kaizer Chiefs - Orlando Pirates Carling Black Label Cup final.
Platypus Productions' Ian Chuter directed the TV commercials, shooting in Moscow and Johannesburg. Platypus also handled the extensive broadcast packaging requirements.
The Loeries Grand Prix follows numerous awards for the campaign, which won Gold at Cannes and The One Show; was The Creative Circle Experiential Ad of the Year; and was featured in-book at D&AD.
Ian also directed YouTube Interventions, the Wilderness Foundation campaign that won Silvers for Media Innovation - Single Medium and Internet and Mobile Commercials.
Renee van Reenen directed the Prison Broadcast Network campaign, which won Bronzes in Live Activations and TV & Cinema Commercials - Up to 90s.

Platypus Productions' growing awards cabinet also includes two Grand Prixs from India's Abby Awards for the Vodafone ZooZoo campaign, which became a cult sensation with over six million YouTube hits.
