World Leisure Holidays' Long Beach, Le Touessrok and La Pirogue win awards

Recently, three World Leisure Holidays' properties - two established and one new - were recognised for superiority and excellence. Le Touessrok won Best Hotel in Africa/Indian Ocean award: The hotel is a flagship Sun Resorts hotel and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. The resort has been awarded the Ultratravel Best Hotel in Africa/Indian Ocean award by The Daily Telegraph's luxury travel magazine, Ultratravel. This is the third year running that Le Touessrok has received this award.

The hotel also won The Leading Hotels of The World's quality award. Having celebrated its 33rd anniversary in November 2011, it was voted the regional winner of the Commitment to Quality Award, for the Middle East region. The hotel was given the highest score during inspection.

The 18-hole Bernard Langer paradise golf course - Le Touessrok's prize offering - has proven its merit. Readers of Diners' Club magazine voted Le Touessrok the best golfing resort experience of 2011. The luxurious hotel, the exclusive private island and the boat ride across the lagoon to the spectacular pro-designed golf course appeal greatly to avid golfers from across the world.

TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards honour Le Touessrok Hotel: This year, millions of travellers from around the world voted Le Touessrok the hotel deserving of honorary awards in two categories: the Top 25 Luxury Hotels in Africa and the Top 25 Relaxation & Spa Hotels in Africa.

Hotel and Lodge magazine commends Long Beach, naming it 'Best Resort'

Long Beach, a tropical haven for snorkellers, divers and sun-worshippers, aims to combine the worlds of relaxed island living with contemporary design and first-class service. The resort's high standards have been recognised by the French magazine Hotel and Lodge, which awarded Long Beach its Best Resort commendation for 2011.

Long Beach has only recently passed its first year in operation.

La Pirogue and Kanuhura receive Certificates of Excellence for 2012 from TripAdvisor

TripAdvisor awards a certificate of excellence to properties that consistently receive outstanding ratings from their members. This accolade honours service brilliance and is only awarded to establishments that consistently receive exceptional traveller reviews on TripAdvisor.

In addition to the TripAdvisor awards, La Pirogue is only Mauritius hotel to win the TUI Holly Award for 2012.

Germany's leading tour operator, TUI, has listed La Pirogue among 100 of the 15 000 best hotels in TUI's worldwide portfolio. It is the only hotel on the island of Mauritius to have earned this accolade, and for the second time.
