News24 application for BlackBerry smartphones reaps global acclaim, local success
Tens of thousands of users in South Africa have already downloaded the News24 application for BlackBerry® smartphones in the six months since it launched. The application was also selected as a regional winner in the 2010 BlackBerry Partners Fund™ Developer Challenge, a global hunt for the world's best BlackBerry smartphone applications.
With over 500,000 unique visitors generating 7,6 million page impressions and 100,000 active application users generating more than a million sessions every month, News24 is one of South Africa's largest online publishers.
