Media24 Family Magazine's Publisher awarded
Willem Breytenbach, Publisher of Media24 Family Magazines, was announced Publisher of the Year at the prestigious ADvantage ADmag Awards. This annual event recognises outstanding achievements across all consumer magazines in South Africa.
This year the Gala event was held in Parktown Johannesburg, at the fabulous Moyo restaurant.
Willem Breytenbach was quoted saying, "This award is on behalf of the whole team of Family Magazines Division. Publishing our great brands can't be possible without great editors, editorial teams, advertising, circulation and publishing teams."
He also added,"It is a privilege to work with amazing brands that have editorial content which is relevant to its markets." Willem joined Media24 Family Magazines as publisher in March 2008.
Media24 Family Magazines publishes the biggest titles in Africa, and has the likes of Huisgenoot, YOU, Drum and tvPlus magazines in its stable. Family Magazines also publishes Kuier and the newly acquired TV24. This division also publishes three very successful brand extensions, namely Huisgenoot-Tempo, Huisgenoot-Pols and YOU Pulse.
