LimelightSA's World Cup oomph was launched with the 100-days countdown on 2 March, 2010. We embrace the effort to involve all South Africans in mobilising a sense of commitment and passion for what is undoubtedly our country's biggest opportunity at so much more than just its fifteen minutes of fame.
With close on half a million new visitors destined for our shores, you have to consider: what if each of them is impressed enough to want to come back again, and then brings a friend with them? So it rings true that with our roster of clients, the reach-potential of what we can say - and for who - is far and wide. If there will be the demand for half a million more breakfasts every day for a month, how does a client like Kellogg's stand out from all the clutter? That's our job, and it is why we do what we do. And with AMKA Products - and the potential to grab the attention of African visiting nations - Nestlé, Danone, Simba, Natura, Karvol, Kleenex, Royco, Albany Bread, Jeyes and SAB Miller, there are many opportunities to celebrate.

So 2 March, 2010 gave us the opportunity to put a name to something we do everyday; Flying the Flag. We do it for our clients, our agency and now the nation too. And while we celebrate these opportunities, we hope our clients and contemporaries will do the same. There have been the good, the bad, the celebrated, the building, the checklists and now - finally - the countdown-green-light.
