A highly experienced executive, Simon's background spans the full spectrum, from hospitality to events, consulting and rights commercialisation, and he is widely recognised for his track record in leading diverse teams to new levels of success in the sports marketing industry.
Simon previously held the position of Head of Department: Commercial and Brand Management: South African Football Association (SAFA) where was responsible for the management of commercial rights and all the commercial affairs of SAFA.
Simon's experience in the sports marketing and events industry includes multiple global events and considerable agency experience. Prior to his position at SAFA, Simon spent four years with FIFA where he headed up the ticketing and hospitality portfolios for both the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Simon holds strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
