The Jupiter Drawing Room Cape Town was last week awarded Design Agency of the Year and Cape Agency of the Year at the prestigious annual Finweek AdReview Awards.
The Design Agency of the Year Award - the first time this award has been given to an integrated agency instead of a specialist one - was awarded on the back of a successful year for Jupiter's Design department.
Last year Jupiter Cape Town was ranked in the top ten design agencies in the world by D&AD
; and the number two agency network worldwide (despite being a single agency) and the second best performing agency worldwide at the One Show. It was also the most awarded agency in the design categories at the Loeries, not for the first time.
Coming on the back of Cape Town being appointed World Design Capital 2014, it heralds the city's increasing profile as a core centre for design and creativity.
The Cape Agency of the Year award comes after a year in which, along with its success with its design work, Jupiter consolidated its offerings to offer a truly integrated business model.
"We grew our digital team so that we can create work that flows seamlessly across traditional ATL channels, through to digital and social media conversations," commented Kevan Aspoas, CEO of The Jupiter Drawing Room (Cape Town).
