Nando's comes home to roost at Black River F.C.

Johannesburg hot shop, Black River F.C., has recently been awarded the Nando's account. Black River F.C. is no stranger to the brand and has done work for Nando's in the past, including the controversial and popular ‘Wandos' campaign and the recent tactical Rugby World Cup ad campaign.
Ahmed Tilly, Creative Director for Black River F.C. says: “We are thrilled that Nando's has moved to Black River F.C. We are very proud of the work that we have done in the past for the brand and the recent Rugby World Cup ads we did reminded us of how much we love the brand. Working with Nando's again feels like a long lost friend returning home.”

Commenting on the decision to award the account to Black River F.C., Nando's Marketing Director, Paul Appleton comments, “We have always had a good relationship with Black River F.C. The work they have produced in the past has been fresh and different and we are excited about working with them again.”

Nando's has become synonymous with their cheeky and irreverent advertising that takes a look at topical issues and constantly seeks to expose amusing human truths in a clever way. “We are rubbing our hands in eager anticipation of the work ahead,” smiles Tilly.

Black River F.C. was born in the minds of The Jupiter Drawing Room ( Cape Town) in 2005 and has experienced phenomenal growth since opening its doors. The agency boasts an impressive client list which includes Virgin Money, 1st for Women Insurance and Career Junction, to name but a few.
