Expecting large crowds jostling to lay their hands on the high definition consol, Jupiter Cape Town prepared an interactive poster campaign to heighten the tension amongst gaming enthusiasts in the build-up to the big day.

Featuring angelic-looking “it” boy, Hunt Stauch, the in-store posters act as a countdown to the arrival of the PS3 in Musica stores nation-wide. The initial poster shows a battle-ready Hunt and each day thereafter, more injuries appear on his body with realistic stickers, depicting both the struggle facing the expectant masses and the impending launch date.

“The line ‘stocks are limited, things could get ugly’ says it all,” reckons Jupiter Cape Town Creative Director Livio Tronchin.
