Who gave the sporting performance of 2010?

2010 was an astonishing sporting year for so many reasons, but which South African sportsperson gave the single best performance of the year?
Sport24 is seeking the nation's help in making this decision ...

During the year we asked readers to vote for their performance of the month from five nominees, with the most voted for sportsperson then taking that month's title.

And it's from these 12 nominees that the single best performance of 2010 will be chosen. Below please find the 12 monthly winners, and the reason for their nomination.

We're also giving away an awesome His and Hers set of Fossil watches to one lucky voter.

Given that it is all about a single performance, if someone is nominated twice for different performances, as is the case with Hashim Amla this year, their votes are not tallied together.

Readers can also have a little fun by voting for the more tongue in cheek Sport24 "Plonker of the year", which is based on the same system described above.
