34 wins Hansa Pilsener account

After a keenly contested pitch against four other leading Below The Line (BTL) and experiential agencies, Cape Town based 34 has been awarded the prestigious Hansa Pilsener account. Yardstick was brought in to co-ordinate the pitch process, tasked with sourcing an agency for the brand with a long term view to partnering. The South African Breweries (SAB) General Manager for Hansa Pilsener, Mosidi Seretlo expressed her delight at the appointment, saying she was "impressed by the agencies' ability to combine sound creative strategy with clever and surprising execution to bring the brand to life".

Having completed several successful projects for SAB brands Castle Lager, Redds and Brutal Fruit in the past, Morne Fourie, MD of 34 told of his excitement at extending into the Breweries portfolio. "Hansa Pilsener is a brand with a rich history and we are ready for the challenge of delivering great results into an already hugely successful product".

With the core task of creating memorable summer experiences for Hansa consumers, specialist BTL agency 34 took a novel approach of upscaling the creative concept through partnerships to develop a powerful campaign platform for the brand.
