NATIVE team selected for the judges stand

Often a good measure of how respected a business is in its industry, is how sought out its employees are for industry opportunities such as judging awards and speaking engagements. Since the launch of NATIVE last year, NATIVE's CEO, Jason Xenopoulos, says he is delighted with the number of opportunities both he and and several others of the NATIVE team have been selected for, whether it be judging industry awards or appearing as guest speakers at significant conferences during the year.
"It's exciting to know that the expertise and creative skills we have at Native are recognised by the industry and that we have an opportunity to be involved in these respected industry awards and conferences," says Jason.

Among others, Jason has been selected as one of the judges in Marketing Mix's inaugural Digital Media Publishing (DMP) Awards 2011. He also recently attended the Net Prophet Conference as a guest speaker.

Jason brings a wealth of experience to these opportunities having been integrally involved in the direction and creative aspects of 2.0 Media Pty Ltd, Y&R South Africa, Metropolis and VWV Interactive before starting up NATIVE, the largest independent integrated digital agency in the country, in 2010.

Jason says when judging he looks for those elements that truly set nominees apart. "The successful integration of digital media into the total marketing mix is key. It's always fantastic seeing the new talent and innovative ideas in our industry," he says.

NATIVEs Chief Marketing Warrior, Ben Wagner, will be judging DMASA's prestigious Assegai Awards this year; Andy Ellis, Creative Director, is judging Creative Circle/DMMA Ad of the Month and Adam Whitehouse, Executive Creative Director: Design, has been selected as a judge for the Loerie Awards. Jarred Cinman, Chief Inventor, sits on the Bookmark Awards Steering Committee.

NATIVE guest speakers will also be appearing at the AfriTech Kenya Summit, E-marketing Conference and Expo and Tech4Africa coming up later in the year.

"Being involved in these awards and conferences is an honour for us and we look forward to the fun and challenges each will bring," ends Jason.
