[The Digital Edge] Webby judging, 24.com and SA Twitter stats

This week's Digital Edge is a Cape Town-centric event with all three of our guests residing in in the Cape and the show actually being produced from the Town.
To kick off the show, Pete Case joins us to discuss his recent judging of the international Webby awards. These awards look at international creativity and design in digital and quite a few South African's are in the running this year.

Next up we speak to Mike Wronksi who recently released the report on South African Twitter stats. We quiz him on the details to find out whether Twitter is a medium worth caring about or if it's just an echo chamber of geeky whingers.

Finally, Geoff Cohen from 24.com talks to us about the success of the company over the past year and what it takes to build a site with over two million users a month.

We'll also be at the Netprophet conference this week so if you see us running around with a microphone please come say hi.

Download the episode from www.thedigitaledge.co.za ON MONDAY MAY 17th AT 12PM.
