In this week's episode we take a look at the world of Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPG's). You've probably heard names like “Second Life” and “World of Warcraft” but what exactly are they?

With these online games generating profits of billions of dollars per year, even casual gamers are hooked. Of course anti-social nerds are still the main target market for developers but there is a definite move towards games with a smaller learning curve that don't require 21 hours a day of playtime to succeed.

For this episode we speak to developers of both local and international MMORPG's to try understand what drives them to create these products. We also speak to games players and finally someone that makes their living off selling in-game items for real cash.
