OUTshine awards name top pointsman

Thabo Motlhasedi and Michael Mphaka have been named joined winners of the March OUTsurance 702 OUTshine pointsmen award.
The awards were launched this year to recognise the 702 OUTsurance pointsmen and women who direct traffic at important intersections during peak hours. Many of these pointspeople go the extra mile to make a significant difference in the lives of Joburg's motorists.

Listeners are asked to nominate their favourite pointsman or woman and share their story of how that person helps them make it to work, and home again, on time.

"I'm a frequent user of the Chris Hani Baragwanath road going to and from work," wrote Itumeleng Leepile in his nomination for this month's winners. "Since the implementation of the pointsmen and women, it has been a great pleasure travelling on the road.

"Their service is wonderful and quick - it's a pleasure to know that services of this calibre exists."

Thabo and Michael share a R5 000 voucher from Builders Warehouse and will go into the annual competition for the OUTsurance Poinstman of the Year award.
