We thrive in innovation, changing the way things work for the better. We love the benchmark set high. The gauntlet thrown. We are a fearless digital agency that wants to colour industries and eek returns from nought. We build websites. We conjure apps and online advertising that really really works. We are obsessed with the numbers. We live for brave clients that want more… more forethought, more customer delight, more returns. We are amorphous. Are you brave enough?
Amorphous New Media wraps its fingers around the Steers digital account
After a few intense weeks of deep and expansive research, with generous lashings of creative obscurity, Amorphous New Media (ANM), one of the foremost full-spectrum digital agencies in the country, has landed the account for what is arguably South Africa's most iconic burger brand - Steers.
It is with great delight and dribble-dipped chins that ANM takes over full management of the digital campaigns, as well as the creation, refreshment and management of the website, mobi-site and social platforms.
Nana Lloyd, Steers Marketing Executive, says, "We're thrilled to have Amorphous New Media as our digital partner. Their energy, humour and meticulous nature shone through in their presentation, leaving us both in stitches and little doubt as to who our preferred partner would be.
"Pairing the tremendous shifts taking place in the digital and marketing landscapes with Amorphous' exemplary track record and skill set, the potential exists for this to be a most revealing, if not enlightened time for the Steers brand."
In line with key digital trends, Amorphous' focus will rest on engaging with Steers' fan base on an increasingly original and meaningful level - aside from the perpetual goal of enticing them by their feet, noses and phones into Steers restaurants across the country.
Grant Shippey, ANM Executive Creative Director, says, "Steers has a wonderful voice and personality, and our aim is to carry this character across the digital space. We had such fun preparing our pitch and we'll certainly hold that experience close as we tear ahead with our new partner."
ANM will be driving the Steers digital strategy alongside TWBA (above-the-line), Cross Colours (below-the-line) and The Media Shop (media agency).
Since entering the Internet game in 1998, Amorphous New Media has evolved into one of the leading full-spectrum digital agencies in the country. The Level 3 BEE Company has no interest in pomp and ceremony, electing rather to let client returns speak louder than trophies and baubles.

Are these the guys responsible for not thinking to include the pretty obvious "LIMITED TO 2 PER CUSTOMER" on today's STEERS burger special disaster? I really think agencies are milking companies and this kind of work can and should be done inhouse.
