Last week 3D Deco supplied 20x 6m domes and décor for 'Scatterlings Conference & Events' whose function was a team building event for 'Sandoz', Cape Town. The 3D Deco crew beat their own set-up record of three hours per dome - in less than one hour one dome, including decor, was complete. Twenty domes and decor were complete in fifteen hours.
A member of Scatterlings suggested for future: each team set up their own dome as part of the team building activity. What a marvelous idea! Thanks, Scatterlings. So, here we go...
Team building a dome is a stimulating activity engaging both physical and mental skills. There are four segments to this event:
Reading and following instructions
Sorting and passing pipes
Assembly of steel pipes with nuts and bolts
Stretching a fabric cover
As you can see, not everyone in the team needs to be physically strong. With the team working towards a common goal, exhilarating focused fun is shared by all.
