Volcano Advertising awarded prestigious industry accolade by Koenderman

On Thursday, 21 April 2011, Volcano Advertising was awarded the prestigious 2011 Tony Koenderman Finweek AdReview Award in the Outstanding Performance (Integration) category for the Garmin 2009/2010 brand campaign.
Arguably the leading independent agency in South Africa, The Volcano Group has quickly scooped up accolades for its exceptional approach to both creative and strategic client requirements. In the case of the Garmin campaign, the agency was briefed to develop an integrated advertising campaign, aimed at directly communicating the brand's value-add to consumers, and further strengthening its positioning within the local South African market as category leader. The campaign launched with two TV commercials, the first depicting the wildebeest's migration across the Serengeti, followed by the migration of salmon upstream, both communicating that "Nature relies on Instinct. For everyone else there is Garmin."
