At Southgate the tournament started off with electric soccer being played by all of the 32 amateur clubs as well as the celebrity games. Headlining the celebrity matches were the teams from Isidingo and the Sony United team that was loaded with ex-Bafana Bafana players such as Neil Tovey, Mark Fish, Mark Williams and many others.

Two dancing troupes and Chippa kept the party going between the matches and had the crowd on their feet most of the day.

The final two teams of the Western Cape regional tournament go through to the National Finals, which will be held at the Nelson Mandela Square on 27 and 28 November.

To entertain the crowds in Cape Town, there will also be all star celebrity matches, excellent entertainment by DJ Monde and Guffy, as well as the opportunity to win great Sony prizes.
