Airlink, true to its theme of the ‘Freedom of the African Skies’, continues to extend its reach with new African destinations and is proud to announce a new direct route from Johannesburg to Pemba, Mozambique.
The new flight, departing every Tuesday and Saturday from 24 March 2007, features the only non-stop service in South Africa, from Johannesburg to Pemba. This direct link will offer travellers the unique opportunity to experience the unrivalled beauty of this paradise beach resort, via the ease and comfort of travelling direct with Airlink.
Since the launch of the campaign, tour operators have been inundated with enquiries and bookings. Implemented by Volcano Advertising and embodying the ‘fly direct’ concept as a unique selling point, a fully integrated and highly innovative campaign was launched that ensured a strong call to action and immediate response was achieved.
“Volcano Advertising successfully created a recognisable and credible brand footprint for Airlink into Pemba, Mozambique. This campaign has allowed us to achieve our set brand objectives of highlighting awareness of the new route, while reflecting Airlink’s core essence of providing customers with a convenient and direct non-stop flight option,” comments Karin Murray, Airlink Marketing Manager.
In the very near future Airlink is also looking forward to announcing other exciting African destinations, which will excite and satisfy the ever expanding number of local and international passengers seeking new places to visit with the freedom of the African skies.
