Stop and smell the coffee

While enjoying your favourite cuppa at Seattle Coffee Company this month, you'll be encouraged to take a bit of time out to recharge your batteries. Psychologies magazine, with its focus on self-development, better living and relationships, is cleverly encouraging coffee drinkers to stop and smell the coffee via a mini-meditation session.

Psychologies partnered with Seattle Coffee Company, running coffee tags and posters to engage with their discerning customers. "Taking a few quiet minutes to savour a good cup of coffee is a simple ritual that can remind us to reconnect with ourselves in the midst of chaos," says Psychologies editor, Tracy Melass. "The campaign asks playful questions - 'Is your cup half full or half empty?' - around this daily ritual which is, we think, enhanced when combined with a copy of the only South African women's glossy entirely focused on self-accomplishment."

"I love that Psychologies has used intelligent, coffee relevant headlines - undoubtedly these will entertain and resonate with Seattle coffee drinkers," says Martin Coetzee from Tag 8 Media.

The October/November issue of Psychologies magazine (featuring Julia Roberts) is on sale now, or to subscribe call 0860 106 380.
