Our Facebook campaign had over a million impressions in the first three days.
DJ Fresh changed his personal Facebook profile picture to the Miller Rock The Boat.
By Monday 20th (three working days after we launched) we had 4000 people on a waiting list!
We then closed the waiting list and replaced it with online registrations on our website (www.rocktheboat.co.za). Within 24 hours we have received over 2000 online registrations!
DJ Fresh describes Miller Rock The Boat as “the biggest and most successful campaign he has ever experienced in his entire career on radio!” In a nutshell, there is an absolute frenzy of public excitement with people clamouring to get tickets on-board. Therefore, we are now converting this excitement into solid leverage for potential sponsors:
All our media and marketing communication will now have a new call-to-action: “Register on www.rocktheboat.co.za and stand the chance to win tickets!”
Each of our Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsors (which all have tickets within their packages for both competition winners and company reps) will be receiving a 1x week radio campaign on 5FM, where listeners will be driven to purchase their products and stand the chance to win their tickets on board for themselves and three friends. Winners will be called live by the 5FM DJ's and awarded their tickets.
This campaign will be supported with an online presence on our website, as well as with an email campaign to 10000 recipients per competition.
Our ‘package sponsorships' now have a very solid retail component, which will be an excellent volume and revenue driver for our sponsors.
