Giant Google pin arrives in Cape Town CBD

A giant Google pin, designed by environmental artist, Brendan Smithers, has recently arrived and now overlooks Cape Town's South West City Bowl.

Previous works by Brendan Smithers include the nine-metre high ‘Wish' which was slow burnt at this year's Afrika Burn Festival, and the new piece ‘Memory', which was unveiled at the same festival this year.

Standing four metres high, the conceptual art piece is the largest Google Pin in the world.
