Characteristically Ian Gabriel is not stopping for a moment. Principal photography on his first feature film, Forgiveness, is scheduled for completion at the end of October. Then he steps straight on to a prestigious TV campaign for a leading SA brand, shooting in November.
Just prior to shooting the feature, Ian Gabriel directed Giant's tongue-in-cheek ads for Parmalat. The clever concepts were shot simply and effectively and captured the attention of local TV audiences and made quite an impression with international clients.
Not to be outdone, the commercials production team at Giant Films has been keeping busy with bids for both Ian Gabriel and several service spots. Negotiations are hotting up as they pull out all the stops to nab the international opportunities heading their way regardless of the exchange rate!
