Vega hosts hotly contested Ad Forum event - 'Fast Food Advertising - It makes you sick at times!'

The verdict is out: Chicken Licken, KFC, Spur and Steers seemed to have received the majority of green cards for their television and radio advertising campaigns, whilst some of South Africa's other fast food brands left the audience cold.
Top advertising gurus and opinion formers attended the Ad Forum event, in association with Orinoco and hosted at the Vega Bordeaux campus, to discuss and critique the work done by the ten top spenders in the fast food industry for the past four months of 2011. The main objective in mind was to see what works at face value for the audience. The forum was chaired by Jeremy Maggs and a panel consisting of Gordon Muller (GSM Quadrant), Andy Rice (Yellowwood Future Architects), Musa Kalenga (IHOP) and Justin Nothling (Vega student).

A montage of recent work was played, discussed by the panel and then the audience was asked if the campaign worked for them by showing a green card or if it doesn't by showing a red card.
