MamaMagic has won the EXSA exhibition of the year in the 6001 - 12 000 square meter category every year since 2007. The design and offering is carefully planned and designed specifically for its target audience. The show caters for expectant parents as well as parents of babies and toddlers in the age group 0-6. The added value that differentiates MamaMagic from other baby shows is in the detail. The floor layout and infrastructure was planned for wider isles to accommodate prams, pram "parking lots" and play areas to keep toddlers entertained.
Other value adding features included a Pampers custom stand with free nappies and booths for nappy changing, the Woodward's Experts lounge and appearances by CBeebees television star Mr Maker and Barney shows. Visitors had the benefit of a wide range of products and special exhibitor price deals that are limited to the show. Many experts from various professions offered talks and opportunities for one-on-one interaction with show patrons. Amongst these experts were industry specialists who were joined by members of the public, were judges of the product awards of the show. There was also one fully paid-for pregnancy to be won worth over R200 000.
