South Africa's diverse and dynamic arts and culture heritage is one of its richest and most important resources, with the capacity to generate significant economic and social benefits for the nation. The South African music industry is demonstrating rapid growth and is fast becoming a force to be reckoned with in the international music industry. Oasys Innovations, a leading supplier to the events and exhibition industry a proud supporter of local talent, recently demonstrated their support of local musicians by sponsoring audiovisual infrastructure for Garth Taylor's national tour.
Garth Taylor, an adult contemporary artist who writes his own music and lyrics has experienced phenomenal success over the past year. His national tour started in Port Elizabeth at the Boardwalk Casino and at the beginning of December the band will make their way down through the Garden Route to Cape Town. The tour will end off with three performances in Johannesburg, Kimberly and Bloemfontein.
