Oasys supports Sasol as it “strikes oil” in Dubai

The Sasol Group Services Head Office, based in Rosebank Johannesburg, contracted Oasys Innovations, on behalf of their affiliate Sasol Middle East based in Dubai, to design and construct a corporate stand for an international exhibition. The stand needed to reflect the Sasol Group as a whole and display individual, industry specific products for the Middle East Coatings Show held in Dubai from 10-12 March 2008.
Says Oasys Exhibitions Account Manager Craig Andrew: “We designed the stand through our Johannesburg office and after being awarded the contract we offered Sasol Middle East a turnkey solution. We were also involved in sourcing South African handmade beaded cars and delivering them to the stand, to add a uniquely local touch to the corporate giveaways.”

The stand was built in Dubai through a joint venture with a division of GL Events called Eastern Exhibition Services, a local service provider. The Oasys Head Office supplied a dedicated project manager to oversee the stand building and hand-over process. Adds Craig: “We also created graphics specifically for Sasol Middle East, which were displayed on the stand for the first time during the show. These have since been retained by the Middle East office for their own branding purposes, as there was previously no existing marketing collateral in Dubai specific to Sasol, prior to this show.”

Craig concludes: “The contribution of a unique identity for Sasol Middle East reflecting its South African roots and its contribution to their marketing mix, was a challenge in which we met and exceeded our client's expectations.”
