CoreXalance once again celebrated another successful year by hosting a year-end function and awards ceremony for the financial departments of the media owners they most frequently do business with. The annual event was held on the 4th of November 2011, at Beira Alta Restaurant in Montecasino.

No matter how small or insignificant they might feel, there work has a significant impact and we aim to give credit, where credit is due", CoreXalance CEO, Mandy Kayser.
The awards were once again divided into two main groups, those for companies, and those for individuals.
The company categories where:
1) On time every time - given to the company that is on time, every time in their response to critical correspondence, reports and questions from CoreXalance. Caxton Magazines walked away with the first place, followed by Ads24 (second place) and Primedia Broadcasting (third place).
2) How low can you go - given to companies who limit the risk of bad debt by resolving queries, passing necessary credits quickly and collecting debt well. Here Caxton Magazines also won first place, with DStv Media Sales in second place and Capro Limited in third.
3) Been there done that - given to companies who is there and does what needs to be done, when needed. In this category, Avusa Limited won, with Caxton Magazines in second place and Capro Limited in third.
The criteria of the above mentioned awards where tallied up, to choose the overall winner of the Credit Excellence Company Award for 2011. This coveted award went to Caxton Magazines.
The Individual Credit Professional of the Year Awards celebrates the great work individuals do for their credit departments. The winners in this category were Caroline Marais in first place and Beverley Vink in second.
During the 1920's Gatsby inspired evening, elegantly dressed guests were treated to a three course meal and some light theme-inspired entertainment. The prize for the best dressed female went to Ashika Naidoo, Credit Control Manager at Primedia Broadcasting. Her partner, Thaven, won best dressed male.
