iGeneration Research receives raving reviews

Knowledge Resources hosted the Kid & Teen Republic Conference which took place last month in Johannesburg. The conference was held to share expertise on kids, teens and their families. Foshizi, a Black Consumer Insight Agency, was invited to present a paper on township teens and their iGeneration Youth Research which received raving reviews from the delegates.
The iGeneration research was conducted within the youth segment aged 16-24, from Western Cape and Gauteng, to try and establish what young people in these provinces had to say about trends, brands, celebrity brand endorsements, their role models, hotspots, behaviour, events, promotions, product consumptions and preferred mediums of communication.

The topics discussed at the conference ranged from the new and positive ways to reach kids; decoding the symbolic world of kids and their parents; exploring the developmental stages of kids to bridge the gap in your marketing strategy; marketing to gatekeepers and educating kids.

Presenters included prominent teen magazines, research companies and media companies.

Reviews and comments about the iGeneration Research were: “Very insightful and funky! Enjoyable presentation with fab content! Superb content. Brilliant, well researched and very insightful. It is 10/10!”

Delegates felt that Foshizi brought the townships to them and only wished that there was a video that came with the presentation.

For those who are eager to receive more information, there is a two-hour DVD and a 60-page report available on request.

iGeneration's contribution to the conference was rated as follows:

Knowledge of speaker = 90%, Facilitation style= 87% and 88% for achievement of learning objectives.
