In line with the brand's annual review, and guided by their sponsorship agency, Openfield Marketing, Distell made a strategic decision to partner South African Rugby Union (SARU) as a supplier sponsor of the Springboks.
The sponsorship deal includes exclusive product rights within their category, pouring rights at SARU functions, the right to distribute premiums, which allows Klipdrift exclusive branding and commercial rights to point of sale product, as well as branding rights in advertising campaigns.

The Klipdrift Springbok sponsorship media launch at the Klipdrift Brandy Distillery in Robertson was an enjoyable affair, attended by the who's who of South African rugby and members of the media.
In true South African style, guests were treated to a day of Klipdrift generosity and hospitality, which included a unique "brandy 'experience" hosted by the Klipdrift Brandy Ambassadors.
