The newest SAARF RAMS (2011/2) revealed that, year on year, Jacaranda 94.2 has grown significantly in market category listenership across its key broadcast areas: 21% in Gauteng, 29% in Limpopo, 18% in Mpumalanga and 24% growth in North West.
Jacaranda 94.2 continues to dominate Pretoria, as well as the Afrikaans market in Gauteng with a whopping 28.3% market share.
In addition, the station has grown year-on-year in its market category (MC) audience (25-49 year olds in LSM 6-10, now LSM 7-10) - by 34% in Johannesburg, 48% in total English audiences and a further 3% in Gauteng, bringing its total MC market share in Gauteng to 12%.
Jacaranda 94.2 now also owns a substantial 16% share of the lucrative 25-49, LSM 8-10 market in Gauteng.
