We are five

Engage Brandcraft has turned five years old and to celebrate, in addition to the requisite party, the five members of the Engage Brandcraft team have each chosen a cause-related brand to freshen up pro-bono in 2012.
Creative director Ian Nel says, "We are lucky to be here after rolling recessions - we entered the industry pretty green in the first place with no business experience of our own. These past five years have been a steep learning curve but we've loved most of it and hey, here we are."

Each of the five causes chosen by the Engage team will receive a complimentary consultation session, brand identity makeover and R5000 in print-work or other requirements that we establish as being important to their identity/image or critical to their work.

Strategy man Chris Human elaborates on the relevance of giving back as a birthday gesture: "We were thankful for all the good passes and opportunities life has thrown our way since opening up shop - they're the reason we are here. We got some lucky breaks and we figured it would be appropriate to put some lucky breaks back out there for others - even if they're small."

The causes we'll be supporting are:

Chris: Siyakhula Education Foundation
Ian: Dibanani Childrens' Home
Dijon: TEARS
Stephi: Maitland Cottage Home
Chrisli: Second Chance Welfare

You can also read more about our five chosen charities, why we chose them and what we're planning to do for them on the engage Blog here: www.engage.co.za/blog. We'll be following the progress on each of these projects there over the course of 2012 on the blog too.
