With more than 4000 square metres of exhibition space to work with, the eventing team had to work quickly and efficiently to accommodate the international contestants (who came from over 73 countries) and 1200 spectators over the three days of the tournament.
"To keep everybody in on the action, we placed two 4m viewing screens above each Judo mat displaying relay feeds," explains Harland Kordom of Strike Alliance. "In addition, the 12m LED Wall we supplied was the ideal surface for the awards content and camera feed."
The event was broadcasted internationally live from the venue, and Strike Alliance set up a live stream to the Internet from a studio in the Exhibition Hall.
"Overall, the event was a great success, with the delegates, contestants and spectators not even realising all the hard work and effort that was required to make everything run smoothly," adds Kordom.
