"Andrew was one of the co-founders of ODM some seven years ago and has been instrumental in the development of the business, through some rapidly changing markets, since then. He has done an outstanding job and thoroughly deserves this promotion. This succession plan has been in process for quite some time now and I am very happy that we can make this transition," Bosman said.
"He also forms a powerful leadership team with Mike de Villiers, the CFO of ODM," he said.
Ridl has been the Chief Operating Officer of ODM for five years now and takes over from Bosman as CEO.
Bosman will move into the role of Chairman.
Ridl's career has included a nine year stint overseas where he was involved in large-scale technology roll-outs in the UK and in several countries in Europe. He has a commerce degree from UNISA and went to Westville Boys High School in Durban. About ODM
