The contest took place in 150 schools in Gauteng, Western and Eastern Cape. The aim of this fun and fantastic competition is to celebrate World Kids Colouring Day. This is done through supporting fundraising efforts and offered kids the opportunity to colour their planet for children in need. The project also aims at showing how creativity can change lives in big and small ways.

The winning school stood a chance to win an art classroom makeover to the value of R10,000, stationery from Staedtler to the value of R6,000 as well as cash prizes for the hero learner and teacher.

Congratulations to Pro-Ed Private School who raised the highest amount - a whopping R10,000 - to be crowned winners of the prize!

Congratulations to the winners, and well done to everyone who took part in this amazing project.

Kerry Harrison, National Sales & Marketing Manager, Staedtler (SA) (Pty) Ltd, commented, "It's such a pleasure to encounter such a degree of professionalism."

Here's to colour, creativity and visual literacy, and here's to putting another smile on the face of a CHOC (Childhood Cancer Foundation) kid!
