SAFW, in association with Edgars and The Fashion Agent has hosted three successful Designer Meet 'n Greets where the public were invited to Edgars to meet designers and ask them for personal style advice.
The inspired campaign kicked off with a chance to pick the brain of Craig Jacobs of Fundudzi, followed by Justine Reardon of JUST, Jacques van der Watt of Black Coffee and Hangwani Nengovhela of Rubicon have all taken part in the Designer Meet and Greets.
On 9 March 2013 Edgars, South African Fashion Week and The Fashion Agent hosted the flamboyant Gert-Johan Coetzee's Meet 'n Greet at Edgars Melrose Arch from 12.00pm - 1:00pm and Edgars Sandton from 1.30pm - 2.30pm.
JBoD members were invited to attend the sessions for some style advice and a word on fashion.
They had themselves a fantastic time, and managed to steal the attention of the man of the moment for long enough to get some of that curiosity fed.
Thank you to Edgars for the invite and to Gert-Johan Coetzee and The Fashion Agent for the time and effort spared.
*HDI Junior Board of Directors (JBoD) - A world first, these three boards (kids, teens and young adults, each with 12 directors) are our in-house VIP advisors.
They're an extraordinary group of sussed and savvy youth that give us opinion leading views and insight into the youth culture. Their analysis and ideas help give our clients the edge and they're particularly useful for concept testing and idea generation on new campaign strategies.
