Eto'o's responsible drinking backed by Guinness

Guinness is a drink enjoyed the world over, especially by those that love soccer. To communicate Guinness's commitment to controlled and responsible drinking, we were briefed by Saatchi & Saatchi Cape Town advertising agency to create a 30" TVC out of stills of soccer champion Eto'o - with the brief to make the stills dynamic.
After all, it's not just Eto'o speed that sets him apart, nor is it his knack for being in the right place at the right time, his ability to spot opportunity before it arises. All this would count for nothing if he lacked his greatest gift. Control is just as important on the field as it is off. So, similarly, when someone is enjoying a Guinness, they ask them to be in control like Eto'o, and to enjoy it responsibly. We used the stills to take the viewer through a series of dramatic moments frozen in time during a football game. We follow football hero Eto'o's and witness his focus and control in a stylised dead-time environment.
