Italian style in Rosebank

La StradaPeroni, on 5th and 6th March 2011, once again saw The Firs, Rosebank, transformed into a feast of Italian flair, décor and entertainment, offering a stylish streetside dining experience. Bustling with Lamborghinis, Vespa scooters, mood music and minimal decor, the perfect, Italian-inspired atmosphere was created.

Rain Productions, commissioned through Inspiration Room, provided the elements that helped create this alfresco lifestyle experience. Guided by the 'NastroAzzuro'(meaning Blue Ribbon) signature of the Peroni brand, trendy white furniture illuminated by slick, blue lighting and bespoke decor formed the basis of Rain's visual interpretation of the brief.

The signature piece, aPeroni branded DJ box was custom made specifically for La StradaPeroni, through Rain Productions. The DJ box was set in front of the modern yet practical cat walk that provided the stage for the awe-inspiring fashion show that was the highlight of the event.

"From the moment you parked near The Firs, you were drawn in by blue lighting and upbeat music," explains Tracey Fawell of Studio4332, who visited the event. "When you entered the square, brilliant white furniture reflecting the blue lighting and subtle branded pieces completely transformed The Firs, and really created a phenomenal backdrop of a fantastic night on the town."

Rain Productions offers state-of-the-art conceptualisation, event design and event management. For more information about the company, visit www.rainproductions.co.za.
