Exhibition stands with an experiential twist

An exhibition stand speaks volumes about its sponsor. An eye-catching, functional exhibition stand makes a declaration that creates a memorable impression on everybody visiting the space. Meetings Africa (25-27 February 2009), proved an ideal medium through which this potential for creating memorable brand experiences could be leveraged.
Exhibition stands with an experiential twist - Rain ProductionsDesigning stands for Thebe Exhibitions, Brand Activation, Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism and eVentáge magazine; Rain productions demonstrated that exhibition stands can be customised and utilized to enhance the image of any brand through unforgettable, brand-aligned exhibition spaces.

The success of the stands can be attributed to Rain's stylish furnishings and striking light pillars; that did well to ensure their exhibitors' stands stimulated curiosity and interest on the part of exhibition visitors.

Rain's light pillars are made up of fluorescent tubes with stretch covers, which can be transformed to suit every theme through interchangeable colours. The illuminated pillars create a modern, red-carpet atmosphere and formed the distinctive feature of the brand activation stand at Meetings Africa.

Emile Erasmus, Creative Director at Rain, is the mastermind behind the modern, sleek furnishings that formed the basis of the exhibition stands. Rain's furniture is available for hire, or can be customised to meet specific requirements and can be purchased for permanent installation. All of Rain's furniture is proudly South African- designed and manufactured locally using quality local materials, including; stainless-steel, suede and leather.

In addition to the successful showing at Meetings Africa, Rain's LED-light walls were on display at Mega Media (3-5 March 2009) at the eVentáge stand.
