Etiket, a multi-award winning, Irene-based agency, was chosen for its innovative approach to the company's digital advertising and subsequent awareness needs. The Spring Campaign for example will be part of a bigger social media and digital strategy that will aim to assist in establishing Johannesburg as a world class tourism destination.
"We feel extremely fortunate to be working on this project as it gives our team an opportunity to help Johannesburg to claim its place on the tourism map, and by being digitally orientated we can really ensure that the message reaches a broad international target market. This is the type of campaign where we can achieve real results in the form of boosting traffic and bookings on JTC's Tourism Booking Portals," comments Janhendrik Oosthuizen, Etiket's Managing Director.
"We're delighted to have Etiket on board and look forward to making the most of their expertise in the digital space to entrench Joburg and all the exciting elements it has to offer in the minds of travellers," says Acting CEO, Phelisa Mangcu.
Etiket will also be responsible for updating and maintaining the JTC's digital elements that will encompass social media elements such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn as well as JTC's own website and Booking Portals. www.joburgtourism.com
Concludes Oosthuizen: "Our new partnership with the JTC is no doubt a great fit - creatively we are on the same page and enjoy the same visions and goals. We look forward to working with the JTC on great digital and social media campaigns."
